Let me explain why we think this launch is not only exciting for our customers but also for every firm with an eye for AI-driven innovation.
First, what is the Silverfin Assistant?
Essentially, it’s a tool designed to work alongside you to save you time and give you peace of mind.
It uses AI and Machine Learning to automatically check your client data to find things that might have been overlooked. Things like missing transactions, outliers or unexpected entries in the data. It’ll also spot things that can help your client save money, optimise their tax or pre empt possible future issues. A helping hand when you’re working in Silverfin.
Is this yet more AI hype?
No, this is the real deal! The Silverfin Assistant has already been a big hit in Belgium over the last few years, where so many of our customers rely on it to improve the quality of their data and the service they provide.
And now, we’ve built out a comprehensive set of AI-powered checks and rules specifically for the UK accounting landscape. Our customer trials are complete, and we’re excited to declare lift-off day!

How does the product work?
As you prepare your client’s working papers, the assistant constantly scans the data in the background. When it finds points of interest or anything unexpected, it makes a note with a helpful nudge to take a look. You can then decide whether to add it as a todo for follow up, or dismiss it.
We’re constantly adding to and improving the checks it carries out, guided by our customers who can submit feedback in real-time as they’re using the tool.
