Cloud platform now available in French, English and German, with full trilingual rollout completing this summer
Luxembourg, 25 March 2026 – Silverfin, the cloud-based financial reporting platform, has announced the integration of German into its Luxembourg platform. The update now makes Silverfin available in three languages, French, English and German, providing a better fit with the linguistic reality of the Luxembourgish Market.
In a market where over 75% of employees operate in a multilingual environment every day, language is essential.
“Multilingualism is a defining feature of Luxembourg’s financial ecosystem. Depending on where teams and clients are based, professionals often need to switch languages several times when preparing deliverables. This linguistic diversity is part of the country’s strength, but it can also create friction in day-to-day workflows.
By making the platform available in German, Silverfin aims to better align with the reality of the Luxembourg market and allow professionals to work in the language in which they are most precise, ultimately improving the quality and reliability of their work.” – Bassam Alaoui, Regional Manager, Silverfin Luxembourg
Rollout schedule
German language support is being rolled out module by module to ensure translation quality remains high:
- Annual Accounts: Available now
- Corporate Tax: April 2026
- Legal Documents: May 2026
- Working Papers: August 2026 (completing the full trilingual user experience)
Local team investment
This commitment to multilingualism is reflected not only in our platform but also in our people. As part of Silverfin’s continued expansion in Luxembourg, a new trilingual team member with a primary focus on German will join the local team in April 2026, ensuring that German-speaking firms receive dedicated and localised support.
The bigger picture
Beyond compliance, the update addresses two challenges that Luxembourg firms are facing right now. First, talent: allowing employees to work in the language they’re most comfortable in is a practical lever for recruitment and retention. Second, efficiency: removing the need for manual translations between languages cuts the risk of errors and saves time that’s better spent on client work. It also allows employees to generate deliverables in multiple languages, regardless of the language they usually work in.
With this development, Silverfin reaffirms its ambition to become the essential technological partner for Luxembourg fiduciaries and finance departments, combining software innovation with a deep understanding of the local market.
