Announcing a new eLearning experience: the Silverfin Academy

Announcing a new eLearning experience: the Silverfin Academy
3min Read

I’m really excited to unveil our brand new learning platform, the Silverfin Academy.

It’s a self-serve training portal delivering standardised, high quality and up to date learning materials to all Silverfin customers. We’ve packed it full of different training materials to suit all learning styles – from interactive courses, to short videos and even live training sessions too.

We hope it’s going to be an amazing resource for firms onboarding with Silverfin, as well as for existing customers who want to upskill established users or new members of staff.

The more familiar and confident accountants are with Silverfin, the more value they can get from the software.  So the Silverfin Academy’s mission is to help all users have a first-class experience of using the software, from first timers to more experienced power-users.

Silverfin-Academy

Until now, training was delivered by Silverfin Customer Success Managers, and our customers’ Silverfin champions.  With this new always-on training portal, we want to enable end users to take control of their training experience and at the same time free up capacity from project champions.

We’re really impressed with the Silverfin Academy. Incredibly useful training materials, very engaging and pitched just right. I think it’s going to transform the learning experience for our new users.

Your success is our success

Since joining Silverfin 2 years ago, my primary focus has been on making sure our Customer Success team delivers a world-class customer experience.

Building trusted relationships with our customers, offering personalised support across all stages of their Silverfin journey, being the voice of our customers internally at Silverfin and driving our customers’ success and growth using our platform.  In short, helping our customers get the most out of their investment and achieve future success with Silverfin.

Change management expertise

We know that rolling out new software and transforming processes that often haven’t changed in a long time can be daunting.  Add to the mix, the fact that for the project team involved, the day job doesn’t stop –  juggling timesheets, deadlines and demanding clients – it can feel a little overwhelming. Many have never managed, or been part of an implementation project like this before.  If change isn’t handled carefully, fear and mistrust can arise.

This is where our Customer Success team comes in, working closely with the internal project teams to help project manage, oversee training, set milestones, answer questions and advise on how best to overcome the challenges that a new software implementation may bring.

With this launch of the Silverfin Academy, we’re now able to standardise the training part of onboarding with Silverfin, and still maintain the personal touch with dedicated CSM’s for all of our customers, even as we scale as a company.
